I add a scoopful (or 2 trowelsful) of aged compost in the hole where I'm going to transplant my new tomato, and another scoop is scratched in lightly around my tomatoes after about 2 weeks in the ground, then I just water with compost tea every 2 or 3 weeks. They do very well.

Hi Joe

tomatoes 396615 to the forum.

Yes and no to feeding my tomatoes.

I don't like dry or wet boosters that are sold to pump up your plants. I find MG's products expensive for the results.

I do believe in a healthy growing medium. If it was dirt, you'd want the right pH, and NPK ratios for what you want to grow. You also want other nutrients all plants need.

So I don't feed my tomatoes, but I try to have the best growing medium I can.

Just like Bea. Wink
