Freeze warning? I live near Shelby, NC and we've got a frost advisory. A hard freeze warning would have me in tears. Our forecast is frost for the next three mornings with lows in the upper 30's. I'm going to cover my 4 largest plants with plastic bags and drape plastic over the others. All my pots can go into the shed.
Our average last frost is stated as "mid-April" although I've seen frost as late as early May. We can have frost in May and then brutal heat and drought conditions by July 4 so I don't wait till May to plant.

I pulled out the agribon and covered everything I could last evening. Tomatoes got two layers.
It was showing 32 this morning, and the covers were frozen and crispy. Tonight is supposed to be a bit cooler. Check your forecast and bundle up!!

Each winter, on average, your risk of frost is from November 10 through March 28.
You are almost guaranteed that you will not get frost from April 16 through October 20.

Weather.com does not have us listed for a frost advisory.. I know about 45 minutes inland they DO have a frost advisory for tonight 12am-9am. I think I might just throw a layer of plastic over the beds just to be sure and then take it off tomorrow. I'll plant the sweet potatoes and the squash in the new bed (hubby is fitting it into the ground today and we'll fill it with mix tonight) tomorrow before I go out of town and hope for the best.
