Outbox
I have 4 % posts in my outbox but I don't know if they are sent or not. They do not appear to be as the arrow faces up and in all the other boxes the arrows go to the right. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Re: Outbox
Hi,
Have you tried Travis's suggestion? Members have the option of declining to receive PMs altogether, with the exception of those from mods and admin. That choice can be turned on and off in each member's profile under the preferences tab.
If a person has chosen to not allow pop- ups in their browser, that is one less visual signal to alert a person that a PM is waiting. One can find instructions to allow exceptions in the sfg forum only, in the 'how-to' forum.
The other visual signal is the PM link in the nav bar changes. There are no audio signals.
My outbox says 4% full but there is only one message in it!

Testing as you suggested
Ok, I have sent a PM to both of you. I hit send. They are currently both sitting in my outbox. I do see two other items in my sent box, from a few days ago.
Thanks for both of your suggestions.

I think I get it!
I think it still shows in my outbox until you (or whomever) pick it up then it is gone from there.
