Long Island Compost
Does anybody here have any experience with composted manure from "Long Island Compost". I stopped at a hardware store in New Jersey today and they carry that brand of composted manure. The bags don't specify what animal manure they use. It says something like "various animal manures"
I sent the company an email asking for more information but maybe someone here could shed some light on it.

When I was on their website to get their email address, I never thought about calling them. Thanks for the suggestion

absolutely. I had to call about their red mulch as I planted raspberry canes near it. I was worried about the safety of the red dye... Called and all my questions answered. Good luck!!!

I didn't get to call them yet but I got an email from the company. Apparently the manure component of that compost is duck manure.
I wonder how good duck manure is. I know there's other ingredients but is it just the duck manure that makes up the manure part? I sent them another email and as soon as I find out, I'll post the answer.
