Group Compost Buy - NYC Queens Long Island Area?
I live in Queens NY zip 11426 and found an outfit up in Westchester (CompostWerks) that will deliver 3 cubic yards of compost for $60/yd. This is organic high quality compost that is claimed to be far superior to bagged variety. Anyone nearby want to go in on a group buy? Myself and two others would be ideal.

It is all from organic sources, with no municipal waste. The test reports are posted on the site.

I was told that this compost is far superior to any bagged compost which is not to be trusted.
It is cheaper too especially with a group buy!

Does it have herbivore manure? (cow, horse, bunny, chicken, etc.) Does it have composted veggies? Composted seaweed, or seafood shells like crab or shrimp? Are you going to be making your compost from here in?
I guess I should first ask if you are planning to do Square Foot Gardening. If so, have you read the book "All New Square Foot Gardening?"

It does have herbivore manure in it. I don't know about the rest. I do plan on doing Square Foot Gardening, and I have the book. I do my own composting, but don't have enough to start with.
