Finger or Probe?
Who uses their finger and who uses a probe to check their garden moisture contest? I'm using my finger to try and keep up with how moist my garden is each day. I'm thinking of buying one of those cheap probes for a more accurate reading. Whatca think?

Re: Finger or Probe?
Great title!
I have both (OSH has a 4 way tester for $10). I use my finger or by looking at the plant, though.
I like the tested for the other things...an instant pH test!

Finger. We are amazing measurement tools, we just do not have digital read outs

If that title were used on any other website I would have never clicked on it.
I use my finger or as some Texans I know refer to it as a "fanger."

Yeah, had to share that topic title with my husband...
I've always used my finger; never could see spending $ on the probe but if it's a multi-tasker it could be useful.

You're supposed to check it first!?
ANSFG said you can't overwater MM, so I just water every day. Unless it's rainy.

Finger, all the way in! Checking the bottom is as important as checking the top.
