SFG mentioned on Sam's club item
I was looking on Sam's club for a garden bed my mom bought me that I am going to take back, when I saw this. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod5710428&navAction=
I was surprised the item description not only mentions SFG, but even mentions growing in 20% of the space of traditional gardens:
"These beds are perfect for Square foot gardening, which allows you to
grow five times as many plants while using only 20% of the space used by
traditional row gardens."

Interesting, but WOAH! a leetle bit spendy.

The price is for 3 - 9" high 4'x4' beds. Or could probably reconfigure to make 2 - 4'x8's. And includes shipping.

I saw that, but wow, it doesn't seem like a deal. Now if it was cedar....Lindacol wrote:camprn wrote:Interesting, but WOAH! a leetle bit spendy.

Re: SFG mentioned on Sam's club item
Considering most beds online are around $100 for one, it's actually not too bad. They do carry one bed that is 3.5' x 6.5' for only $39, which is a better deal, but the odd dimensions and the bar breaking the bed in half kinda sucks.

Yeah, some of those prefabs are gardener's eye-candy. I paid $18 for my 4x4s, $20 for the 4x6s.
