Re: Material between 4x4 boxes.
Hmmm... you could try a 3D approach and put something in place for it to go up, over, or around I know what you mean though, squash can get HUGE!
Re: Material between 4x4 boxes.
The name of one of my squashes is "Rampicante"... does that suggest anything to you?
Re: Material between 4x4 boxes.
lol... quite possibly. One of the reviews on the vendor's website says something along the lines of "plant it and get out of the way!"
Re: Material between 4x4 boxes.
My extra seed is out on loan but you are welcome to try some, if you dare.
Kudos!!
That's one attractive garden. I love the homemade pavers from molds. I do have a love for slate too, so I think that's where it comes from! You enjoy that lovely garden!

Theresa wrote:This is what we use between our SFG's, it is a cement stone look walk. My husband has a mold that he uses to make it with. He doesn't remove the grass, he just pours the cement right on top of it. I remove any grass from between the box and walk and I've added different ground covers to the area around the boxes to keep any weeds or grass from growing there. As we add new boxes to our SFG area, he adds more walk.
Theresa, did your husband use the pro finish concrete or just regular sidewalk mix? Also do they just come out with the white color or did he use something extra to get that beautiful white. I love the look of your path!
