If it was me, and I didn't like were they are located, I would dig them up and relocate them until they flower. Who knows, you may just want to keep them if they attract bees to your yard.

Hard to tell at this point. Looks like part of the lily/iris family...japanese iris? Something draught tolerant. The little things under it...just weeds.

I have tried digging them out for the last 2 years and they come back but more then before...
I'm afraid I'll have to relocate my daylilies and try killing them with a chemical

What kind of flowers have they got? Dig one up and take it to the Extension office. They should be able to tell you quickly what it is.

OH! So you want to identify not the tall spikey stalks (the day lilies) but the little things around the bottom?
Looks like orange oxalis. It keeps coming back. Does that grow in your area?
If so, just pull it...it's a common weed. If you take it to the extension office, you'll find out for certain.
