I am ready to get my garden going for year 2. I did Mel's mix last year. What do I need to add this year to have my garden ready?

Hi Amy and What d I do with my soil for year 2? 396615 to the SFG Forum. You may find a more extensive answer in a few threads from last year. Use the search feature to hunt them up. The short answer is loosen the existing Mel's mix, add a bunch of fresh compost, stir it up with a garden fork, place your grid and plant. Easy peasy! What a Face

Haha! I am guessing you are right but it is about 4 steps more than I do. Add compost to the top and plant. LOL.

Welcome to the forum Amy,
Just add a trowelful of your compost blend to each square, mix well and water it in!
But don't rely on my reply alone.
