The ants are carrying off my snail bait!
I put down some Earth-tone Slug & Snail Control to deal with a minor snail problem, and now I've got a major leaf-cutter ant explosion...but as I look closer I find that MOST of them are carry away the bait
Trying to fix one problem has just led to another...and they seem to be coming from the neighbor's yard...probably relocated there after I put stuff on their huge mound in my yard.
Arrrrrrgggggghhhh!

So Sorry.
I would not have expected leaf cutter ants to like a slug and snail control.

Might try some instant grits along with the slug bait! You know, when it rains, it pours!

Would grits hurt the ants or something?

Supposedly, the ants eat the dry grits, and it swells up, and pop goes the ant! Don't know it this works, but lots of folks swear by it. Jo
