Help needed in the Philippines
Hello Forum Friends;
Is there anyone here who is in the area of Kabasalan,Philippines? Or knows someone that is traveling on a regular basis to that area? I have a new friend who is a director of youth and outreach to those who are in desperate need of hands on teaching and physical help to teach them SFG!!!
Yes I have pointed him to our website and all it has and have walked him through it to a degree to get him introduced to the method/lifestyle. He is a college graduate in education and seems to have a good drive to help people.
So I hope someone here will see this and talk to me real soon in order to get them help!!!!
Thanks

Re: Help needed in the Philippines
Not sure if this might help, but there's a guy who has posted on the SFGF Facebook page from the Philippines. His name is Martyn Loveday and he's in Zamboanga which is on the same peninsula as Kabasalan on the island of Mindanao. It looks like they're about 150 kilometers apart.
The last time I saw him posting on the SFGF FB wall was Nov. 8th.

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Help needed in the Philippines
I lived on Mindanao for almost 6 years but in Surigao City which is on the far North of the island. We recently moved to our coconut farm on Dinagat Island so I will be of little help for you. There is a gardening blog of 600+ members, most who live primarily in the Southern part of Mindanao so you could try them, though I am a member of the blog I never post there myself but they have an active membership. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/philventures/info
I also have a Facebook Philippine gardening group that I maintain and post articles with a good membership called "Philippine Farm and Garden - horticulture, aquaculture, and mariculture" and you are more than welcome to post a request there if you wish as I have several members who live in Southern Mindanao and perhaps someone can assist you
