This is an interesting site. I'm going to try some seeds next year just for grins. I've heard some people say they have great luck with winter sowing. Has anyone here tried it?

I'm going to try it this year hopefully. I went and talked to a guy I know that has a glass company and asked him what he did with old windows he pulled out of houses... he said he just tossed them in the trash. Winter Sowing Icon_eek

He's going to save them for me so that I can build frames out of them.

Ray in Australia is doing winter tomato trials right now. Follow his thread to find out more.

I am doing a thread on Winter Vegetable Gardens in the Pacific Northwest regional forum. There isn't much there yet because Leeks are the only thing that needs to start so far. They can also be direct seeded next month for a Maritime NW garden.

Deborah ....who did not think there was any interest in this. Glad to see you are going to look into it.

I've been browsing the old threads and found this one -- perfect timing. I just joined their FB page, too. Winter Sowing 3170584802
