It appears "no rest for the weary" ...... mama just called has been "sprung", as of 10 minutes ago & they are doing the discharge routine now.
Figure I've got about 30 minutes to get there after they discharge her, before she calls a taxi ... LOL
God is good! Praying Connor stays put a bit longer

No place like home!
HOORAY for the Acaras! I'm just catching up after being busy and unable to get on the board for a couple days. Hope you are getting some much-needed and deserved rest! Praying for all to build strength and wait for a healthy, safe delivery! That doc MUST be held to his promise - labcoat sandwich!

Getting back in the groove
The dust has settled from moving mama home & I've almost got everything unpacked from the hospital stay.
We have a Dr Appt tomorrow to kinda map-out where we go from here, but tenatively the regular DR's take over from the hi-risk Dr's, from this point forward.
Next "benchmark" should be 34 weeks...... that's the part where everything is "normalish" & they won't intervene if Connor decides to arrive anytime after that point (since we are technically 2 weeks ahead on lung development from the steroid treatments in the hospital).
I'm not sure if the circlauge stitches come out at 34 or 36 weeks, but we'll have to go back in hospital for that. Cervical length at last check was a big goose-egg, so I'm guessing the time frame between the stiches coming out and Connors' arrival will be fairly short.
Nursery is coming along well & drywall/paint/carpet/window treatments are all done. Changing table, dresser, basinet, swing are all built. Hoping to knock-out the glider and crib before the weekend (pics soon).
Just FYI ... "IKEA" is Swedish for "Satan designed my furniture"

Thanks for the update Acara. So the new chant is 34, 34, 34. After that, as you say, it may be hours versus days. But I have a feeling that all the collective prayers, kharma and just plain good wishes from the forum members is helping keep Momma, Connor and you on the right spirit level. Hope I'm wrong and it will be later, but 15 June is sticking in my mind and has been for about a month.

It's getting so close and you are ready!!!! My advice for today: Relax, this will be the last chance you get,for quite a long while (not really, but it sounds dramatic eh?). I am glad you are all home!

Gosh, Acara, you're such a great builder/gardener, have you brushed up on your home delivery skills? Just kidding. Congratulations on all you've done to have a new bedroom for baby Conner. Can't wait to see pictures. Best wishes, Nonna (The IKEA comment really cracked me up.)

Today is 33, but we want 34, 34, 34, 34. Another round of chants for Connor to stay put.

Officially on the road to week 34.
Met with Dr's and it looks like the stitches come out on week 36 (around 29/30 June).

Awesome !!! I am so happy for you 3. Tears in eyes as we speak I love babies I love my children, they make me laugh more than anyone I know. They make other people laugh too (after scaring them to death sometimes even). Blessings to the three of you and so glad things are moving along nicely.

So glad you share with us

Some other shots (just had baby shower ... so excuse the mess & unassembled stuff)...
I've gotta say ... I'd rather be gardening than remodeling

Well remodeling can be thought of like gardening. It takes a while to set up but when its done you get to set back and look at your handy work and watch it grow, and with this remodel, you get to watch your little precious Connor grow You really are gardening but in a different sort of way
