How is Mom? I hope she is getting some of her strength back!

Re: Another off topic, inappropriate post from your admin...please forgive

What colour are they?
He looks so peaceful.
Not sure
Connor started changing eye color last week & we were pretty positive he was going to brown (mama) or hazel (daddy).
All of the sudden on Saturday they flipped back to Blue (Grandma (dad) & Grandpa (Mom)) ....
Blues heterozygous-recessive, so I'm not sure what's going on??? I always thought baby eyes stared blue & then changed to their actual color in the first month. I've seen them change shades (in the same color family) before, but never back to Blue once the brown started showing ...?

He is precious Acara!
Does he have any SFG wear yet?
I don't think there is a set time for eye color change...my son's changed slowly after he was 8 months old or something.
We waited for DD's to change and gave up when she was 24 months and figured they were staying blue, which we have NO IDEA where that came from. But blue they are! Mom and dad are both green...there are some unknown grandparent and great grandparent factors too though, so it must be from one of them. All I know is it WAS NOT the milk man!

Actually, color is not set by genes, as people are known to change their eye-color throughout life < fact.
My sister (now in her 60's) can still change one eye to brown, & the other to Green. more common than people think.
Our subconscious

I have never heard of changing eye-colour like that before, LittleGardener.
Makes it a bit awkward re passports and driving licences.

All of us were taught, that our genetic heritage as a fait accompli. - That,
(supposedly) at our conception,
our parents handed down whatever genetic legacy they inherited: genes
for eye-color, height/weight, baldness, disease or whatever — and
now we’re left playing the hand of DNA we were dealt. - But, in fact, our genes are open to
being influenced throughout our lifetime: by what we feel, think, & our beliefs.
Should you be interested

OK, so, much like Middlemamma's babe, my son's eye color didn't settle for some months, though we still cannot decide if they are greenishbrownish blue or what. Some days they look more one color than another. Weird.

SFG wear? Sounds like Connor needs a Mel B. special with the logo on it. SFG's first "sponsored/adopted child" so to speak...lol. That ought to get the nurses and docs talking about SFG.

Acara,
You realize that all on this forum consider themselves extended aunties, uncles, or grandparents to Conner. He became part of our SFG family and ours to claim with all our prayers. So as my Grandmother used to tell my Mother, "feed my baby"!!!!

I get it now ...
I've been tossing the mail on the couch for a week (to go see Connor) & finally had a chance to go through it today.
Thank you very much guys........ I'll try to get some pics of him in his snazzy-new SFG accessory

That photo is adorable. I don't know acara, but he looks like he's ready to punch you out. I wouldn't turn my back on him if I were you.

Nah .... not my first rodeo with a newborn, but mama's been victimized a few times already. Luckily for her technology has advanced significantly & they now have "Wee-Wee-Teepees" for that ...
It's Mama's #2 favorite baby gift, right behind the baby-Blackberry (tracks/notifies, feedings, sleeping habits, diaper changes, nursing rotation).
Sometimes it's nice to have a "techie" husband

Good grief, who'd a thunk! In your favorite designs no less.
I would suggest passing on Amazon's price deals: '6 used from $7.79'![]()
