So, is crossing into a new bracket here going to give me the same feeling as going into a new tax bracket? Is it something to avoid at all costs? Is it inevitable? Oh my goodness.....so much pressure........

It'll be interesting to see how it matches with last year's poll:

Yes it sure will! With so many more members I thought it would be fun to see if there were any big differences from the poll last year.
Come on everyone!!! Tell us your age...

Just remember:
Age and treachery will ALWAYS beat out youth and vitality!

Also remember, they don't make songs, at least in the country music business, about younger women. I'm tickeled to be the age I am. The only thing better than turning 30 was finally turning 40, I breathed a breath of fresh air.

I didn't see my category "OLDER THAN DIRT". I remember when God created the heavens and the earth......even before Mel's Mix.

Re: POLL: How old are our members?
I taught Sunday School many many moons ago, or was it Kids Church, oh well, I had some really sharp kids, asked real good questions. One was how old is God, I showed them in Genisis where it said He was older than dirt-He made it.

Me too, FV! And I am with you on my 40's being even better than my 30's. My 50's WERE pretty good but the aches and pains toward the end and now moving into my 60's, I could do without. However, lots of people younger than I am have a lot more physical issues than I do so I really don't have anything to complain about.
Gingeandhales, I have kids older than you!!
Capt. Kidney, I am in AWE.

How old are our members?
I "voted", which probably is why the 60-70 age group moved to the front! Hey, all you young'ins, sign in!

OMG! YOUR SCALE IS WRONG!
Oops, sorry, I thought this was Weight Watchers! The scroller said to 'weigh in'!
This age poll is still behind in the number of people who voted last year. Please participate.

Re: POLL: How old are our members?
Thanks for voting. As it currently stands, half the voters are 45 and under, and half are over 45.
Since 45 is the new 25, if you're thinking the forum is old, you must still be wet behind the ears, you youngster you!!

Re: POLL: How old are our members?
I see my age (and I do mean AGE!) bracket is still holding second. Since I am not in the 'older than dirt' group, does than mean that I am still only half-rotted compost?!
