Is it Too Late to Plant Cold Harvest?
When would it be too late to plant a cold crop? I live in the Bay Area (a 10a-10b hardiness zone). We have chilly weather until March, but never snow. We do have quite a bit of rainy weather during Dec-Feb.
I'd like to plant some carrots, spinach, lettuce and brussel sprouts sometime within this month. Would I be starting too late? Will they not mature properly?
Any advice?
Thanks to all who help me out!

I am in So cal but I plant every month. I am not familiar enough with Oakland, but if you never get frost (10a 10b?) then you should be able to plant the peas, lettuce, cabbage guys now. And worse comes to worse, ask at a local nursery - a real nursery.
Think of it as summer in WA state.

Low blow Chopper!(kidding) Coastal Oregon is in the same situation as WA state. Too cool for so many things.
