Re: YouTube and SFG
Thank god for YouTube! I watched a ton of videos last year. It was a great way to see what others have done (and learn from their mistakes). This year I'm making some videos of my own to contribute my 2 cents to the knowledge base.
Re: YouTube and SFG
I got excited about SFG from watching Donna's SFG. She is in Florida which is not much like my home state of Washington. But it was her first year when she started and I got to watch her learn. I'm hooked on her and still watch what she is doing. She posted #40 this week..... Her third season. I just spent 2 minutes of my life watching liquid drip from a compost bin because Donna was talking about her experience with compost tea.... I love it!
Based on how Donna makes her cute videos I have started my own. Friends on facebook watch them and tell me how my little armature hour (my longest is just over 5 minutes) spots on my garden encourage them to get outside and get their garden going. One friend bought a house in Spokane, Washington that has SFG beds out back. She wasn't going to do anything with them because she her dad always did row gardening. She is going to give it a go because of my stupid bouncy little videos and my blog. Who knew! Mel and his girl Friday do very good, professional quality spots. There is a guy in England who is very good. It is just fun to watch some of them.
Deborah ....who likes to watch Tim because he does a professional job and I learn something other then what is growing this week.

Re: YouTube and SFG
Tim's are on his blog (I have watched it a couple of times, it probably is on the forum some where too. I think you will like his blog AND video's
http://www.timsbackyard.com/
I've tucked mine into the thread The Toy Box in the Pacific Northwest regional section. Mine are goofy, more of a video blog but you will learn things from Tim's.
Deborah.....working on the goofy part....not sure which side of the line I'm gonna land on

Re: YouTube and SFG
Deborah, I actually watched yours last night and I enjoyed them. I didn't think they was goofy at all. I still haven't watched Tim's. I guess I have something to do tonight.
Re: YouTube and SFG
I've just begun watching Donna's videos. I am through #18 (she's preparing for hurricaine Faye). I think now I'm a junkie. =) Thanks to all for posting your efforts. What a great way to share & learn!
