SFG Farm For Sale !
For anyone interested JayBirds SFG farm , Orchard, Chickens, and house are for sale.
We are selling out and moving to South Carolina to begin a commercial SFG Organic garden and canned goods operation as well as chickens and eggs, bunnies too.
The home place will be up on Century 21 Butler realestate Mount Vernon Texas tomorrow, so if you are tired of the frozen north or tired of dealing with city life look it up, all the work is already done you could even get the harvest from the fall crops!

SFG For Sale
I WISH! I'm not in Texas and not planning a move any time soon but it seems someone is going to get a great deal! Good luck to you and your new ventures!

Re: SFG Farm For Sale !
Well the realtor hasnt gotten the house on the web yet , maybe today. We are going to look for property on HWY 151 leaving Hartsville heading to myrtle beach, I want to try and catch the beach traffic.
It is so exciting planning a new operation from scratch operation we are planning on minimum 10 acres and building a log house, I will build the house and outbuildings myself. I am thinking of allocating 2 whole acres to SFG (not all at once) We will build a log cabin store front with a state certified kitchen in it and sell canned goods from the SFG garden as well as fruit trees berries etc. there will deffinatly be a greenhouse implementing table top beds and we will propogate our own plants as well as sell to the public in the spring..
Just hope we dont go broke in the process!

SFG for Sale!
That sounds so great! I'm quite envious. Sounds like all you need to add to that is a large chicken coup (free range) to sell eggs and have manure for your compost plus have some vermicomposting going on. Wish I lived closer 'cause you'd get my business for sure!

Re: SFG Farm For Sale !
If you go on the way to Myrtle Beach, I can say that I would be a customer for sure. We head down there at least once a year for vacation. We usually go during the "off peak" time though (it's only us and that's all we can afford), so not sure if you would be open or not. I hope all goes well, that stretch definitely gets uber busy from May (bike weeks) til September.
