Pressure Treated Wood (Video)
I did it! I finally replaced the boxes using pressure treated wood. But as an organic grower, I want to make sure no toxic chemicals are leaching out into the veggie garden soil. I used a buffer that I'm quite comfortable with...

Thank you for the idea, David.
For those with on-ground beds, they can use the reverse technique of wrapping the existing bed with the copper treated wood.
If the existing wood is too rotten to be saved, thinner cedar fence planking boards or common pine boards could be slipped inside the new copper treated beds. Sometimes, SFG gardeners get really creative.![Razz](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

That sure is creative! And I love the idea of wrapping the existing ones, but you'd have to build an extension, or have a corner piece somehow. So it would be the opposite of me cutting the old wood to fit inside. Here's to creativity!sanderson wrote:Thank you for the idea, David.
