I saw we had at least one other poster in the area.... I was hoping someone could tell me where they'd gotten their vermiculite in Mobile or Baldwin County Alabama. I'm even willing to drive over to Gulfport/Biloxi, MS area.

(Yes, I already checked the database. No one has listed it there.)

Try your local County Co-op, that's where I found mine.

The only place I have found the COURSE is Southern Farm and Feed on Dawes Road in West Mobile - 251-633-7171. However, they have to order it and if they don't have a big enough order (feed, vermiculite and other supplies) from the company it takes a little extra time. How much are you wanting? I have some bags coming on thier next truck that HOPFULLY will be here Thursday June 3rd.

If you let me know how much you want I will see if they will add it to my order.

Another source would be St. Elmo Feed and Seed - 251-957-2177. They are in St. Elmo right on hwy 90. I checked there about a week ago and they had the aggurate kind of vermiculite and also had perilite. They actually slit the bag of vermiculite so I could look at it. It is a LOT finer than the course. I didn't by it so it could still be there.

Hope this helps you out.
