Hello from Northwest Florida, Zone 8b
Hello all! I'm a gardening newbie with hardly any experience, little time due to working full-time, and limited financial resources.
I live within city limits and would love to become less dependent on local supermarkets when it comes to veggies and fruit. My goal is to be able to grow the majority of my food when I reach retirement age in 10 years.

Hi Nico. Welcome from Atlanta, GA! Glad you've joined us.
You've gotten some good info already. I would also encourage you to look at the archives - especially for posts from DStack & Yolos.
DStack is down in the Miami area (I believe), so a little warmer. But he'll have some good tropical info.
Yolos is south of Atlanta, but well north of you. I THINK she's in 8a.... Again, she'll have some great info...
