Hello from Northwest Arkansas!
Hello everyone, pleased to meet you.
My name is Chris. I am a complete newbie when it comes to gardening. I have absolutely no experience in it whatsoever.
My wife's grandfather built a few raised beds after doing his garden in his back yard the old-fashioned way (using a tiller and such), and he has had incredible results. I thought that this method looked simple enough that I could do, and so I built a couple of beds of my own.
I am happy to be here, and excited to be able to pick some brains of gardeners more experienced than I. I am always open advice, and in fact, I welcome it. I want the best yields I can possibly get.
Thanks for reading, and have a good one!

Re: Hello from Northwest Arkansas!
Welcome from Ohio, Chris! I posted a longish reply on your questions thread, but we are glad you stumbled upon our little band of SFGers! As I said, I highly recommend getting a hold of Mel Bartholomew's book ALL NEW square foot GArdening 2nd Edition to start with. You have your beds, and you will be amazed at the production that will come out of your squares!
Post often, and we love pictures!
