Made a mistake with Miracle Gro garden soil
I didn't read the directions that said you should mix miracle gro garden soil flowers into the top 6 inches or so of existing dirt. I have a front flower bed that was largely clay and rocks. Had my gardener take out about 6 plus inches of what was there and then just dump bags of the miracle gro in the trench. Same in my rock gardens, in some cases there was no soil at all to mix it into. Can I still plant flowers in the straight "soil" or will I have a problem.
Many thanks.... Steve

Should be fine.
I think you will be fine. I think their garden soil is just peat, a little manure, a little soil/sand. Not exactly Mel's Mix but it should work out ok.
