Table Top Raised Bed from Pallets
When I went to the Post Office today I noticed that a home near the PO had a new raised bed that wasn't there last time I was there. It is an interesting design for a table top raised bed. He put 4x4 legs on pallets, and then built the raised bed on top of the pallets. From the end view, it looks like he placed boards between the slats on the pallet so that it has a fairly solid bottom for the bed. And, I could see edges of landscape fabric sticking up above the soil in a couple places. Looks pretty solid the way it is built, and appears to be one pallet wide and two pallets long, which would make it 40"x8'. It isn't a SFG, but it has potential.

Re: Table Top Raised Bed from Pallets
Not a bad idea to use pallets as the platform. Either attach legs like this person did or put 5 cinder blocks on end as the legs.
