Texas 1015 Supersweet Onions
Last year, OG recommended Texas 1015 Supersweet onions. I planted 72 (Aug. 29, 2019) and finally got one, today. It was starting to bloom, but we were desperate. Our last 3 store orders for onions never came.
The onion was awesome! Every bit as sweet as Walla Walla or Mayan. It wasn't very big, but close enough -- almost my fist size.
I yanked the onion and chucked the blossom, but, when I realized how good it was, I went back and rescued the blossom stalk. I stuck in the water with the fig starts. No idea if it will survive to give me seeds, but what do I have to lose?
