Hello from Linn County Oregon!

Hi - I am a Master Gardener recently returning to Oregon and happy to find this site. I have used Mel's book as a reference for many of the classes I teach in the states I have gardened in. It was especially helpful in Colorado where the soil was really less than ideal for gardening where I lived.
I was the first to have a successful garden in the neighborhood thanks to Mel! I have been compact space gardening for 20+ years and am happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest where the weather is nicer and gardening season is longer.
This year I am going to try extending the season and hope to be gardening though the whole year once the beds are ready.
