Noted! I'm about 80% on What and Where, but I haven't even started the When document. Though with the winter being so harsh I don't think much of my winter gardening needs to be planned around anymore. I'm getting more seeds, likely enough to share, 2 to 4 weeks from now, so more time gives you more options.Scorpio Rising wrote:I will get into my seeds this weekend and post a list. Beetles, I wanna try a couple of yours, but need more time to plan my SFG....

Perfect! You are ahead of me, Beetles. I know most of what, about 1/3 of where, and like you, am taking it week by week on when!BeetlesPerSqFt wrote:Noted! Anyone else? Would December or another month be better?
Re: 2018 - First Annual Seed Exchange Week - January 20-28 (Edited)
Sanderson and Beetles, I'm interested in a few of the things you've posted. I'll look at your lists again and message you.
I'm already registered for a NGA group swap in November and will likely join another in December. October, here, would work well for me.

GB ... I want to thank you for the idea of a Seed Exchange for the SFG forum. I opted out due to being in Canada. However, your idea got me doing a search for a Canadian seed exchange. I found a great group on Facebook and I am in the process of doing exchanges with three people. Actually, two of them only asked for a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with no seeds required from me. This is fun. It is going to allow me to try some new things without spending a ton of money for seeds.

Has everyone mailed their seeds? I'm hoping mine will reach everyone in time to start them.
How about some feedback from members? Is Jan a good month? If not, then when? Do we even want to have another annual swap? I like the idea, personally. I hate to just toss seed varieties that someone else may enjoy.

Thank you sanderson, I received my seeds yesterday (this is the first chance I've had to let you know).
I'd be happy to try again in October or early November, after most of the harvesting is done and folks are wrapping things up for the year. Of course I'll defer to the group....

Re: 2018 - First Annual Seed Exchange Week - January 20-28 (Edited)
I was really bummed that I missed the seed swap this year. Just too busy with the new grandbaby
I don't know that any specific time is better than any other for me.
