She went into the hospital only a few days ago, suffering terrible pain and had not been able to eat. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and other complications. She was only 64 years of age.
I'm very sorry to hear that. Our prayers are with your daughter-in-law's family as well as yours.

My condolences, TD, to your DIL and all her family as well as yours. May she be at peace.

We have two grandchildren staying with us while their mum and dad take care of arrangements following their recent loss. I offer my thanks to those who expressed their condolences.
Picking grandpa's cucamelons.
Not bad on the cucamelons and we are still getting everbearing strawberries.
The amaranth plants at the front of the house (full sun) have grown tall but have only small flowers. The base of the main stalk on one of these plants is massive.
Enjoying grandma's flower garden.

TD, I just now read about your daughter-in-law"s mother. I feel so bad for your DIL losing her mother so quickly and so young. It's wonderful that you and Mrs. can take care of the kiddies while the parents make arrangements.

Thanks Mimi, sanderson and all who offered condolences. This has been a tough year with the loss of my own mother and now the loss of DIL's mother. But the cycle of life goes on as seen in compressed form in our gardens.Mimi2 wrote:Very sad new.
