damaged tomatoes Empty damaged tomatoes

OK, so I rushed and planted my tomatoes too early...Since the last couple of days were so cold and windy I covered them with one of those season extending cloths...But...the wind was sooo strong that it managed to break the tops of a couple of my plants through the cloth somehow. So is there hope they'll grow new tops or should I replace them (I grew them all from seed for the last couple of months, they are all so dear to me...)

If there is still a portion of stem with leaves on it, there is a good chance it will continue to grow. I wouldn't give up hope yet.
