I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Facebook Drawing
I Shared and posted. I have the "Vintage" copy already. But whoever wins it should get the current version, otherwise they will be digging up their garden when it is not necessary. I would hate for them to be led up the garden path.
Re: Facebook Drawing
KJ, There is an insert in these older books explaining that it's not the current method. These older books have some of the history of the development of SFG.
Re: Facebook Drawing
Sigrid's correct, there's a "disclaimer" in the front of the book.
But you have to admit, there are some great gems in the older books - like interplanting and indoor growing.
We look at this as a "companion" to the ANSFG book and something that's hard to get.

Re: Facebook Drawing
For sure I will keep my "Vintage" copy for two reasons; just because it was the first edition and my DH gave it to me and I still refer to it because it sits on top of my computer desk and is always to hand. I use it, knowing what has changed.
I hope to be in my house for the rest of my life, but even if I had to go into a one-bedroom care home this book will go with me.

Re: Facebook Drawing
BTW there's a second drawing solely for Forum members that is NOT linked to Facebook.
It's titled: WIN A "VINTAGE" BOOK AND AN AUTOGRAPHED TROWEL. I had to use the same graphic, but it's not mine so I couldn't edit it.
