Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I just wanted to share these early wishes. Some of you may start traveling or hosting company in a few hours (Yikes, already??)! So, I wanted to catch you before the bustle starts. Stay safe and warm.
As we travel to Sac for Dinner, we don't decorate like we used to. This year it will be on Sat to accommodate kids' in-laws. However, here is my favorite area all decked out.

Re: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I too wish all here at The Official SFG forum a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for 2016.
Many thanks as well to those who helped me so much during my first year of square foot gardening.

I too have found so much inspiration here, and have learned from not only my own experience, but from others' experiences as well! And advice has been so helpful, as well as the photos and tales of SFG lore.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas with you and yours, I do appreciate that I have a new passion, especially as I approach this portion of my life. It has really been a godsend to keep me interested and enthused!

Merry Christmas, everyone...
For those of you traveling, be safe. If you'll be going thru winter weather, take your go-bags or at least a container with blankets, food, water, tp, etc.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays one and all.
To the new gardeners, it won't be long and YOU will be the ones answering questions for a whole new "crop" of newbies! That's what happened to the rest of us. I think I'm headed into my fifth year of growing food now (I've lost count) and I learn something every single season from these wonderful and helpful folks around here
God bless you all, keep you safe and see you back here soon preparing for the new spring gardening season!

Merry Christmas everyone. Thought you all might like a shot of our street last night. We set out 150 luminarias last night, sang Christmas carols with the guitar club outside, high 50's or low 60's.

Re: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Merry Christmas to all! Did anyone get any gardening goodies from Santa? I did! The book, Veg Journal by Charles Dowding and Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds Whole Seeds catalog! That will make you drool and start planning for way more than whatever amount of space you have!
And the weather has been so mild here that DH went out on Christmas Eve and turned over the shredded leaves in my boxes. I do still need to put more mulch over the garlic though.
