Early Christmas present Empty Early Christmas present

Post  AtlantaMarie 12/10/2015, 8:21 am

My sweet hubby gave me an early Christmas present yesterday!

I've been saying for months that another shelf in my gardening shed would be very helpful.  When I went out yesterday to work on trying to get some sort of order out there, he followed me out & started taking everything out of the shed.  Then he built my shelf!  It got a bunch of stuff off of the ground and I have room to put in the garden cart, the lawnmower, & the wheelbarrow with some space to move around!

I also told him the other night that I wanted to get rid of the grass & mulch everything in.  He's agreed to help me get mulch from our county mulch piles.

Can you tell I'm excited!!??

I dunno, CC...  He's kinda picky about that...

But, you know... a trip to the Cape would be nice for me!  I'll be glad to ask him!

(And I bet his response will be:   Early Christmas present 1280598131  )

I bought myself another early Christmas Present.  A leaf blower with a vacuum attachment that shreds the leaves.  My old leaf blower is just wearing out and I needed a new one so spent a little more to get the vacuum/shredder.  Turns out it works real well but is quite cumbersome and also takes a little time to convert from blower to vacuum.

Can't read the model number but here is a picture of the box.  I went to Lowe's and Home Depot and this was the only model number that was a Blower/Vacuum/Shredder so that is what I bought.  I don't know if there is anything better or less expensive.  This worked for me but as I said, a little cumbersome.  I swore I was never going to buy another gas started engine that needed a pull cord to start the mower but none of the electric motors had the vacuum/shredder capabilities.

My electric Toro vacuums and grinds.  Bag doesn't hold much though.
