Re: Drip Water System
Ruth, Do you remember where you saw the photo? I have a lot of 1/4" drip tubing in all the bed and in the pots.

Re: Drip Water System
Ruth, I installed the first 1/4" (micro-dripline) in the spring of 2013, so a little over 2 years. Each box of 1/4" tubing comes off a 1/2" main line that runs around the perimeter of the back yard. There are sand filters than can be installed in-line for the 1/2". Check out dripworks.com for all the neat stuff they carry. Will someone be helping you with the installation? I'm out of town and internet access is spotty.

no one is helping me yet...wish my plumber understood the system.....I bought so many kits and parts....and since I broke my hip and now my ankle.....I need to succeed in this with all the draught here in Cal....I am not giving up to not gardening......will check out dripworks.com....ruth

Re: Drip Water System
Ruth, I'm sorry for your ailments. That has to be frustrating. We also have raised beds. We made these from PVC and emitters and have worked really well for us. We too are in So. Calif in the drought, so I totally get what you're saying. Here is the link. They were very inexpensive to make, and if you know of anyone who can glue PVC together, they should be able to help! The emitters on the bottom spray a fine mist. Put them however far apart on the "sword" you want them to spray out; if you want them to spray 1' out, put them one foot apart on the sword. If you want them to spray 2' out, put them 2 feet apart etc. Good luck!! https://squarefoot.forumotion.com/t16832-garden-sword?highlight=sword
