Vermiculite in China?
For something so easy, it's impossible to find.
Everything I can find online says vermiculite should weigh under 160 grams per liter, and that weight is for very very fine.
Coarse should weigh a lot less.
The lowest density I could find had a claimed density of 90 grams per liter. I just opened the box. It weighs well over 200 grams and has . . . something else mixed with vermiculite. I don't know what's really in it.
In any event, if anyone has any ideas of a reliable brand of vermiculite or can point me to a source, I'd deeply appreciate it.
Otherwise, I guess I'm going to have to consider perlite, but that seems to be less able to hold water.

Re: Vermiculite in China?
Boffer has sent a message to another member, PVPind, as he has a vermiculite business. Much of US vermiculite comes from China, so hopefully you will have an answer shortly.
