Passion Fruit in SFG??
I'm curious if anyone else grows passion fruit in your SFG. I tried it and discovered how the roots hog up so much of the bed. These roots were just from ONE PLANT! I will probably try growing it in the ground or very large pots next time.

In my area, I don't have to worry about trying to grow passion fruit. I just live through you. I would go to large pots and save the beds for less-hoggy plants.

Ha! Live and learn, right? Gardening is a never-ending learning experience. I've totally reworked my summer garden plan (post solarization). I'll try that nematode resistant variety in the ground between papayas, and put up a trellis along my fence for it to climb onto. It's a super ambitious climber! Of course I'll try grafting a couple of other varieties onto it that I've been wanting to try.
