Reece Robert Roman - Feb 6, 2015
Our first grandbaby was born this morning (Feb. 6) at 7:24 AM. He is 8 lbs. 13 oz. (just shy of 4000 g), 21" long (just over 53 cm) and . . . PERFECT.
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

What a lovely baby. I hope he turns out to be a gardener or at least include gardening in his future CV.

He was actually measuring at close to 10 lbs so we're happy that he was so "petite".
My son was 9 lbs 7 oz. and SHORT. He broke his collar bone on the way out.
