Check out Bentley's site for a price comparison if you haven't already. I believe he offers it in 2 sizes, calling them the Worm Inn and Worm Mega. He seems to love this product. The pvc stand is not included but the directions to make it is. He made a wood stand because the weight of the bag made it unstable in his opinion.
Having said that, many months ago I found complete directions online to make your own using heavy duty breathable felt material. Would it be cheaper? I don't know. I am looking for it and hope to get back to you soon. The original worm inn and worm mega uses a strong and breathable material called cordova. But I didn't attempt to make one because I don't sew. That's why I'm still working on my bagster project in the basement.

Found It Kay! (and see prior post too)
Just lucky I found it so quickly. She says it cost her about 40 dollars in supplies.

Re: Latest worm bin setup
Steve, Is there a Forum site for topics about Worms? Dozens!!! We like worms! Here are just two. Type worm in the upper left Search Box. Is there something specific you are looking for? Narrowing the field?

Re: Latest worm bin setup
I get what he is asking. There is compost but not vermiculture choice for where to post. But a look at the compost section will show a lot of worm posts
