Spots on mulberry leaves
I'm an absolute neophyte where shade trees are concerned. This is the first time I've planted any. One of the fruitless mulberry trees has developed dark brown spots almost overnight. Any idea what it might be and remedy. All the leaves are affected, some much worse than the one pictured below. The other fruitless mulberry 50' away is unaffected as are the oaks and silver maple in the same area as this tree. Thanks.

Re: Spots on mulberry leaves
I did a google search; multiple sites indicate a bacterial infection,
pruning is probably in order. Best of luck and let us know if you get a definitive diagnosis. http://vvv.caes.state.ct.us/PlantPestHandbookFiles/pphM/pphmulb.htm
