White spots on leaves
within the last day or so, I've been getting white spots on my newly transplanted leaves. They are showing up on peppers, 1 tomato plant, and tomatillos. I did have an issue with spider mites last week and got those under control, however those leaves looked different than these. These are large spots mostly on top of the leaves.
This is my first garden....so please give me some input. My MM has been a combination of 5 or 6 composts including the following: Black Kow, Mushroom compost, chicky compost, turkey compost, rabbit and llama, and some worm castings thrown in for good measure. I carefully mixed 1/3 coarse V, 1/3 fluffed moss, and the mix of composts. I also watered each layer as placed in the boxes....
Maybe I'm being overly paranoid and this is just from transplanting stress? or is it something like powdery mildew?

Re: White spots on leaves
Hey Terry, to me that looks like sunburn or perhaps from water splash onto the tender leaves. It doesn't appear to be a systemic problem, at least from the photos you posted.
However, it looks like you new growth is a little yellow. If you have some compost you can topdress about 6 inches around the plant stem with one inch deep compost, water well and see how they are doing in a few days.

Re: White spots on leaves
Thanks for your reply. For some reason the leaves in the pics do look yellow, but they really aren't. I think you are probably right about either water splash or sun. I'm trying to really be careful when I water them....but it could also be that they were transplanted in the last few days and are stressed. I thought I "hardened" them off enough, but maybe I rushed that a bit too.
