In the fall, I installed 10 ft PVC poles over one 4x8 SFG but never got around to putting the plastic on it. Today, we got the plastic over it and clamped. This project has been a few years in the making. Really hoping the neighbors don't complain because I'm not sure how this fits within our home owner's association rules.

I planted spinach in the other (uncovered) 4x8 SFG. Hope to plant some in the hoop house too, as a comparison. Shelling peas will go in next. Last weekend, the ground was still frozen. This is the very earliest I've ever planted seeds outside in Wisconsin.

The sun was out, I was in the garden (wearing a winter coat), and it finally felt like spring may actually be here.

I was out cleaning up the greenhouse and wondering if I should try to water it and plant some spinach as well. Maybe I will get to join you tomorrow.

ML built a couple more 8'x2' boxes for me yesterday.  AND bought more seeds for me to plant!  Woo-hoo!

No hoop house yet, but it's in the plans.  I want to be able to grow as long as possible.

Of course, NOAA is saying 2 nights will be below freezing next week, but at least it's almost over...!
