Re: Anyone have POBLANO CHILI seeds?
I have a few extra seeds from 2013 that I just planted in seed pots for this year. Would 8 be okay to try?

I am looking for them too. I have looked in 3 stores and there aren't any on the racks yet. I didn't save seeds from last year because they are F1. I should have just saved seeds.

Camp, I can send you 8 also. I had some HD seeds left over from last year. Baker Creek has Poblamo. I may get new seeds if these don't germinate in 10-20 days. I can probably buy anew pack right now at HD, Lowes, OSH.
Re: Anyone have POBLANO CHILI seeds?
Wooden, I found the both the Mystery Pepper and a Long, long hot red pepper that I saved from last year! That will make it 4 little packs in the envelope.

Request filled - please lock
Placed in the neighborhood mail box this morning. Please let me know when you get them.
Looking for success?
Planted 4 pepper plants bought from my neighborhood nursery, the one I was most excited about was the poblano. Zero peppers, blossoms but no baby peppers?????
Any suggestions for my 2020 seed list? Or do you have any seeds?

Re: Anyone have POBLANO CHILI seeds?
SR, usually if peppers bloom but don't set fruit it is either because they are lacking sufficient calcium in the soil, or they are not getting pollinated. Usually, though, calcium deficiency shows up first by blossom end rot of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, etc.
Peppers & tomatoes are self-pollinating, but they need something to "shake" the pollen loose so that it falls over the stigma. Wind usually does this, but sometimes the plants are protected from the wind and don't get pollinated. If this it the problem, go out to the plants between noon and 3:00pm and tap the plants, especially the branches near the blooms, to cause the flower to shake enough to loosen the pollen and cause it to drop over the stigma.
As for seeds, I bought mine from Baker Creek, https://www.rareseeds.com/pobla/

So strange. Everything else is doing fine....no probs with pollination. I will supplement with some bone meal. Just not sure? I think I will start some next year from seed! Hopefully, I will get some poblanos.

My poblano seeds did not germinate so I bought a Bonnie replacement. It has produced the largest poblanos I have ever grown. Go figure.
