sanderson ... that is a very nice garden you have there. As I read the descriptions, especially about your flowers in the winter, I thought about my own garden which by mid January will be covered with about three feet of snow and the cold blowing winds and minus 30 Celsius temperatures. Please post more pictures for us!

Really nice set-up and lush growth, sanderson. Looks like you've been busy with much more than your vegetable garden. Good luck on your front flower beds.

Looks like you've given yourself quite a bit of work to do! I hope you don't get so ambitious that your garden becomes steadily and stealthily more and more of a burden. Good thing you've been smart about putting drip lines in so you don't have to fiddle about with every darn plant every day in the summer heat. What a time and energy saver!

Perfect! I was hoping you'd say that. I thought about using Dr. P on the lawn that way, without the strainer of course, but haven't tried it yet.

No, these are ones I started from seed this spring. The 2nd and 3rd year peppers are in the pots.

Dang, sanderson! You have A LOT OF GARDEN!!!! Nice, and it is fun for us who can't grow 4 season to see what you guys are doing when we are tearing stuff out and putting it to bed! Thanks for the video tour.

For all you winter bound folks, I will keep posting photos throughout the winter. Rosina, Audrey, and other 3-4 season people, you also.

Marc, The 2 and 3 year old peppers are not as large but that could to due to the smaller pots. The bells on the benches in larger pots are in between size. It really hurt me to pull the peppers in the TTs. I harvested everything, green or ripe red, and prepping them for drying, freezing, or taking with us on our vacation, if we ever get away. Hubby helped me dress the brides (tulle).

Again, nice! My chard is still going strong out there, really the only thing that is! I learned a lot this year, about how many and what to plant, pests (Japanese beetles Evil or Very Mad

) and pollination. I can see how this pursuit is a life long learning process!

That's a really nice setup sanderson.

SR ... I'm with you on learning a lot this year. I'm still harvesting chard and lettuce. Most of what I planted in the SFG did well. Eggplant and green pepper were a total flop. I got just one pepper on the pepper plant. Yesterday I took a tiny fruit off the eggplant. The Japaneses beetles had a field day on the bean plants this summer.
