My first (three!) SFGs!
I am just getting started on my first SFGs this year! I heard Mel on Wisconsin Public Radio and was so excited I ran right out and bought the book. I live on a wooded lot, so these boxes are right up by the curb. My husband was concerned about what the neighbors would think of them, but so far I've gotten nothing but positive comments.

I had no problem finding everything I needed for Mel's Mix, thanks to Jung Garden Centers, they seem to be big fans of SFGs - their seed packets even have SFG instructions on the back!
Edited to add: I have the trellis net but haven't built the frames for it yet, and I need to build some kind of critter-keeper-outer! For now, I'm using row cover at night, but eventually I'll need something better.

Welcome
to another newbie. Before you know it, you'll be looking to see where you can put another bed. Or where you can put large pots or containers of crops. Its addictive.
Good luck and have fun with it.

My SGF boxes are in my front yard right at the curb...they are people magnets as just about everyone loves to stop and talk about the garden...yours should be no problem.

It looks good. I bet you have no problem with Housing Associations or the like. Lucky you.
Re: My first (three!) SFGs!
Thanks all! We do have a HOA that forbids "structures" without approval... So now we're just waiting to see if they consider this a structure worth arguing about! It's an argument I'm ready to have
