I ordered the SFG seed from Jung seed last fall, and planted. Well, I didn't exactly follow the planting guide, not putting them in the sqs on the layout. Now I have some plants that I don't know what they are. Help!
This is a flat bladed type onion, maybe a scallion?

This is a round bladed onion, maybe a few seeds came up that were not included?

These next 2 pics, 1 is supposedly kale? Don't know what the other is.

Is this swiss chard?

It's sort of weird, about only 1 plant of each kind came up except for the beets, radishes, carrots and lettuce.

Does this smell like an onion when you bruise the foliage. It may be a leek, or garlic.

Yes this does look like an onion, again, what does the bruised foliage smell like? What was in ths be previously? Did you use your own compost?

Yes the curly leaf is kale, the flat leaf may be a variety of kale. It is clearly some form of brassica, but I would have to see the stem ... maybe collards?

This looks like collards to me, but it could be some kind of kale.

Thanks for all the help. I finally found the list that came with the seed. Leek(Lincoln), scallion(green bunching onion) I planted scallions in another place just recently, but they were a bulb? chard(Lucullus)
I must have planted the kale and whatever else that is because I knew it was the right time of yr. It may be a type of collards, it shows no signs of making any kind of head. I took a leaf and held it next to broccoli, cauliflower, and collards(mine I have planted is a heading type) They all look alike. I must remember to write this stuff down! I guess I should look thru my seeds and see if I can find what I planted. Can I eat the leaves of this, cooked like collards, even if it's not collards?
