I get to build another bed!
For a variety of reasons, I was having a pretty crappy evening. Then while putting my daughter to bed, we were talking about our schedule for tomorrow, which includes a 6-year well-visit for her, followed by a trip to the garden for me (due to her highness's whiny attitude I didn't get to go tonite). She then asked if she could have her own square foot garden! I'm so proud! I asked her what she would grow and she answered "tomatoes, oranges, and apples". Well, we can do the tomaotes anyway. But now I have to buy a cordless drill because it appears that I burried my electric screwdriver under the Mel's Mix in bed #2. Ah well. So it goes. And she is so excited that she gets to do it all herself! Hurray!

oh, FUN!!!
my 6 yr old is REALLY into gardening, too. he takes it so seriously and looks forward to building materials and 'shopping' for sfg related items.
we're also on a quest to find another 'good' watering can. we have one we both like and one we don't - the one we like has off center hole so it doesn't leak out when pouring whereas the other one has center hole under handle and when full, leaks out the top. never thought it would be so hard to find another good watering can! lol
well happy gardening! from another gardener in ohio. i'm in newark, zone 5b - so close but slightly different, lol.
