PNW: vermiculite prices
I stocked up on vermiculite today so I would have it for next spring. It was $7.60 plus tax per cubic foot, for coarse, which is up almost a dollar from what I paid this past March. They couldn't tell me if the price was going to continue rising. I got it from McConkey in Sumner.
We already pay more than most around the country.

Re: PNW: vermiculite prices
That is crazy! A month ago I paid $4.49/cu.ft. or 17.99 for a bag of coarse.

Maybe the price is the same but the value of a dollar keeps falling. Next spring we will all declare you wise for getting it before we exchange the dollar for whatever China allows us to use.
Re: PNW: vermiculite prices
Not to mention that it probably comes from China. Maybe they heard about SFG and want to get a piece of the pie!
