is this potato blight?
here are some pictures of our yukon potato plants.....we grew these last year too...and even though the plants last year got real ugly towards the end....after viewing our old pictures....they didnt look like these guys.....
we did go ahead and dig up the potatoes just incase it is some kind of blight and the taters seem fine ....now i need to know if you all think it is true potato blight so we know not to plant any peppers, tomatoes or potatoes next year in that same soil.....we planted these guys out in our (back to eden-SQF-raised beds)....so they are in compost/soil and not MM......
thanks
hugs

Re: is this potato blight?
It doesn't look like late blight to me because the spots are small. Early blight has a bullseye pattern in the spots. I spent a bit of time earlier looking at diseases of plants and you may want to look at this website from Cornell: http://www.longislandhort.cornell.edu/vegpath/photos/index.htm
I think it is Black Spot Leaf Disease. The description of the spots being higher on the leaf matches your pictures. Look at the photo on this website: http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-deal-with-black-spot-leaf-disease. This website tells how to treat it if that is what it is.
I am not an expert and I may be wrong so hopefully if I am, someone will come along and help!
