Strawberries for Fall Planting?
I am thinking of making a pyramid planter for strawberries. Can they be planted in the early fall for fruiting next year? If so, what species do you suggest for Northeastern Pennsylvania?
Re: Strawberries for Fall Planting?
If anyone has tips, I'm interested in this, too!
The half of my square filled with Quinalt strawberries, which are an everbearing variety, aren't looking so hot. Anyone know if they just tend to take off slower than Ozark Beauties (everbearer) and Earliglows (Junebearers). I have those two types in the other half and they are looking good.
