I'm Brigit-Carol and am addicted to the SFG forum
Your response (for those not familiar with 12 step groups) is "Hi Brigit-Carol!" This is getting ridiculous -- I check the forum several times a day. Have never done that with any other forum I've been on. Oh, I have it bad!
Any other addicts out there who want to start a recovery group. Oh, that won't work as we'd need to check the forum even more often. Drat!

Sad to say, I'm starting to become addicted to this forum as well! Yikes!!
WM6 phone
For those really addicted it is possible to get to the forum and post from a Windows Mobile 6 phone. I use my HTC Snap and it works.....

"Hi Brigit-Carol!"
We could give you a job , and then you'd have to be here regularly!
Would that be easier on your psyche?!
Just tryin' to be accomodating!

Hi, my name is Carla and I'm an addict too.

Well, at least I'm in good company! And at least it's healthier than hitting the bottle!
Boffer, I've been thinking about getting certified. Although in this rural area I'm not sure I could be of much use. At this point folks are really dubious about this "experiment". We'll see.....

I'm Tim and I'm an addict. I've tried to stop but I can't. It started with a single post, then another, and another. I can't quit. At first I was just addicted to square foot gardening, now I find that I'm addicted to the support group for square foot gardeners as well. AHHHHHH!
Re: I'm Brigit-Carol and am addicted to the SFG forum
Belfrybat, I am not yet certified, but my husband tells me on a regular basis that I am certifiable!
And I would join the recovery group, except that, as is the case with all 12 step programs of recovery...
"...the only requirement for membership is the desire to stop posting...."

My name in Nancy and I am an addict. I now find myself driving even more slowly checking people's yards to see if I can see a square foot garden. Oy!

Oh foot! I'd forgotten the thing about desire. And yes, I'm certifiable -- how do you think I got the moniker "belfrybat"?

Hi my name is Amy and I'm an addict. Not planning on quitting either.
I thought I was the only one doing this. Actually, I keep watching the level of the premade boxes at the nursery waiting to see if they sell any. Poor saps, my boxes cost me $4 why would I buy one for $69+.

Am I an addict?
My name is LeAnn and I am a Square-Foot-Gardening addict in general, not just to the forum. (And I'm glad I am!)
Actually, I don't think it's an addiction so much as an affliction. I have infected one of my daughters, a niece, and possibly a day-care center. So I guess that means I'm a carrier.
Ah, my husband informs me HE is the carrier - he carries Mel Mix, he carries boxes, he carries buckets of water...
Regardless, the people on this forum are fine folks to be addicted to.

Re: I'm Brigit-Carol and am addicted to the SFG forum
My name is Christine and yes I'm addicted. I thought I would start off with one 4x4 box but that became 3-4x4, 1-1x3, 2-2x4 boxes and 1 garbage can for potatoes.
Then for my birthday I get red wiggler worms . Hummm, wonder what Christmas will bring.
Where are the meetings? I need one NOW!

Welcome to the SFG anonymous meeting. But none of us want to quit -- we just enable each other in our addictions. So much fun. And you will love your wormies. My next step in addiction-land is to make some mini-greenhouses for this coming fall/ winter. Such fun!

Re: I'm Brigit-Carol and am addicted to the SFG forum
Hi. I'm Linda and I too am addicted. And it only took about an hour to become so! I check this site three or so times a day and have it book marked on my iphone. Within the first hour on the sfg site, I ordered a ton of books from Amazon. Can't wait for them to get here. And we'll be building the gardens this coming weekend.
